MANILA – Bella Belen is not done yet.

The National University star announced Tuesday her plan to stay with the Lady Bulldogs as she aims for a second straight championship in the upcoming UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament.

"REDEMPTION COMPLETE 🏆 We’re not yet done. Time to make it two in a row! See you all next season 💙💛" Belen said in an Instagram post.

Belen's name was notably missing in the inaugural 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Rookie Draft, whereas fellow UAAP standouts Julia Coronel, Thea Gagate, and Roma Doromal have been listed as aspirants for the pro league.

And this development has answered why she has not declared for the PVL draft.

Belen, 21, is a two-time UAAP champ and the UAAP Season 84's Rookie-MVP.

The NU ace steered the Lady Bulldogs to another title in Season 86 while capturing her second individual top plum.

Alongside her NU duties, Belen was also tapped by Alas Pilipinas alongside fellow Lady Bulldog Alyssa Solomon to play in the 2024 FIVB Challenger Cup.
