MANILA – Sadly, Abed Yusop's streak of attending The International Dota 2 Championships has ended.

Abed and his squad, Blacklist Rivalry, absorbed a 0-2 loss from comebacking TNC Predator in the lower bracket of the TI 2024 Southeast Asia (SEA) closed qualifiers Thursday, signaling the end of the Cavite native's consecutive appearances of competing for the Aegis of Champions.

The International is the world championship in Dota 2 also considered as the longest-standing and most popular event on the professional Dota 2 calendar.

Abed first participated in TI in 2017 with Digital Chaos, where he placed 9th-12th.

He then qualified for the annual tilt with SEA squad Fnatic, and North American teams Evil Geniuses and Shopify Rebellion.

Abed has a total of six TI qualifications to his name.

The 23-year-old Dota 2 standout is the first player in the world to reach 10,000 and 11,000 MMR in solo ranking.
