Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol and his team Fnatic ONIC Indonesia claimed their fourth straight MPL Indonesia title Sunday night, after defeating EVOS Glory, 4-2, at the Jakarta International Velodrome in the Indonesian capital.

The newly-minted MPL Philippines Hall of Legends player, along with Pinoy coach Denver "Yeb" Miranda, have also claimed a slot to defend their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup title in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which will also be held as an Esports World Cup event.

While the last three seasons have been smooth-sailing for Kairi and crew, FNATIC Onic's journey to the top was tougher in MPL Season 14, ending the regular season as the second seed, with an 11-5 win-loss record, below the Eman "EMANN" Sangco-led Bigetron Alpha. 

Bigetron Alpha ended their campaign at fourth place.

FNATIC Onic beat Geek Fam, led by fellow Pinoy Allen "Baloyskie" Baloy, to open their playoff campaign, and swept EVOS Glory to sink the White Tigers the lower bracket.

Baloyskie and crew fell short in the lower bracket finals, as EVOS Glory arrested the last slot to MSC.

FNATIC Onic took home Rp 1.2 billion (P4.3 million), the lion's share of a  Rp 5 billion (P19 million) prize pool.

MPL Indonesia this season saw an influx of MPL Philippines stars entering their league, such as Bigetron's EMANN, EVOS Glory's Jon "Super Red" Bordeos, and Liquid AURA's Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera, who were from RSG Philippines, Blacklist International, and ECHO (now Liquid ECHO) respectively.
