Tekken World Tour: AK dazzles in US debut but falls short of qualifying for main event

AK defeated reigning Tekken World Tour champion Arslan Ash in a nail-biting 3-2 grand finals match. 

AK took home $9,300, the lion’s share of a $22,000 prize pool. 

In the top 8 bracket, AK defeated Korea’s Rangchu before defeating Farzeen to cruise into the grand final. 

The tournament win gives him around 560 circuit points for the Tekken World Tour this year, the first to be conducted with Tekken 8. 

He acquired his US visa just early this year after years of being denied one and missing out on international tournaments as a result.
