The resident Barangay Ginebra San Miguel reinforcement and Pelita Jaya Basketball made their debut in FIBA’s 2024 Basketball Champions League Asia Qualifiers on Wednesday, with his squad scoring a 99-81 victory over Hi-Tech Basketball Club in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.


The Gilas Pilipinas naturalized star played 21:36 minutes and tallied 11 points, nine rebounds, and six assists in their win.


Brownlee with Pelita Jaya. Photo from FIBA.Leading their squad was Muhammad Guntara and JaQuori McLaughlin who both had 20 markers as Pelita Jaya looks to book a ticket into the BCL Asia tournament by FIBA. 



Brownlee previously made his Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) debut for Pelita Jaya last March 23, with the 6-foot-5 star putting up a 14-point, 11-rebound game alongside three assists and two steals.



Up next for JB and his squad is the Ulaanbaatar XAC Broncos which they will be facing tomorrow at the UG Arena.
