MANILA Blacklist Rivalry has clinched a berth in the main event of PGL Wallachia Season 1 after outclassing Neon Esports, 3-0, in the grand finals of the Southeast Asian qualifiers on Maundy Thursday.

It was also a Cinderella run for the Pinoy team as they clawed their way to the qualification for the $1-million Dota 2 tilt in the lower bracket.

The Abed Yusop-led squad overturned things in the clinching match after the Blacklist captain stole the Aegis of the Immortal as Jinn Marrey "Palos" Lamatao's Morphling was triumphant in man-fighting Malaysian player Lee Jia He (CDR)'s Luna in the Roshan pit.

Filipino player Argle Ken "Ken" Corpuz Llesis then got stuck in the pit as he succumbed his monster kill streak to the rampaging Blacklist side.

The net worth battle swung in favor of Blacklist, and then Abed and company proceeded to win another pivotal clash, again in the bottom part of the map near the Roshan pit.

Palos dealt the most hero (33.8k) and building (24.5k) damage against the overwhelmed Neon side and logged a 7-2-9 KDA record, while Kim Villafuerte "Gabbi" Santos nailed nine kills to lead the kill score of Blacklist in Game 3.

Ken had a game-high and efficient 11-4-3 record but was deemed moot as Neon absorbed the staggering defeat.

Meanwhile, it was Geek Fam who downed Blacklist early in the upper bracket of the tourney, 2-1, but they exacted their revenge in the lower bracket semifinal.

Blacklist also had to overpower Talon Esports in the lower bracket final, 2-0, which was played before their Neon bout.

This was Blacklist's consecutive qualification after nabbing a spot in the Elite League, another $1-million tournament in Europe.
