MANILA - North American squad Sentinels, with Fil-Am  Zachary Jude "zekken" Patrone on board qualified for the Valorant Champions Tour: Masters playoffs in Madrid after sweeping their matches in the swiss stage. 

The VCT Americas kick-off champions first put up a gutsy win against Team Heretics, 2-1, before sweeping the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) champions Karmine Corp. 

Zekken was a solid presence in both outings, especially in their opener match against Team Heretics, where he had an average combat score of 292, leading the team with 64 kills and 13 assists  

Zekken became a crucial presence in Game 3 of the tight Bind contest against Team Heretics, getting 27 kills.

In Game 1 against Karmine Corp, he notched 26 kills on top of 3 assists, piling up an average combat score of 334. He was second overall in the match standings, just a kill behind Tyson "TenZ" Ngo for the entire series. 

The VCT Masters playoffs will start on March 22.
