The 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend will not only see the return of the traditional East vs. West All-Star Game, but is also set to feature the league’s newest state-of-the-art full video LED court.

Set to be played in Indiana, this year’s festivities will be featuring the All-Star Celebrity Game on February 16, the Skills Challenge, the traditional three-point contest, the Stephen Curry vs. Sabrina Ionescu three-point clash, and the Slam-Dunk on February 17, and the East-West Game on February 18.

Headlining the games are Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and Milwaukee Bucks frontman Giannis Antetokounmpo, and their respective squads will be gracing the LED court that was developed by ASB GlassFloor.

It features “a high-performance, immersive sports floor” that is “designed to enhance the fan experience in-arena and on broadcast through its interactive displays.”

Some of its features are design and color changes, live replays and other video content, real-time game stats, location-based player tracking animation, interactive games for fans during timeouts, and immersive animations following key plays and moments.
 
The 73rd All-Star Game as well as the rest of the weekend’s festivities are co-hosted by the Indiana Pacers, and it will be held at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse,
 
The West’s starters are James, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokić, Luka Dončić, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. 

Composing the rest of the team are Stephen Curry, Anthony Edwards, Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, Devin Booker, Paul George, and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Meanwhile, joining Antetokounmpo in the East’s first five are Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Tyrese Haliburton, and Damian Lillard.

Jalen Brunson, Donovan Mitchell, Jaylen Brown, Bam Adebayo, Julius Randle, Tyrese Maxey, and Paolo Banchero complete the team. 

Embiid, however, will be replaced as he is currently dealing with an injury.
