Communication is really the key to a healthy LDR (long distance relationship),&quot; said Dy.</p><p>Dy is currently playing in the Premier Volleyball League in the Philippines, while Ramos — who is also playing for Gilas Pilipinas — is in Japan, suiting up for the Levanga Hokkaido in the B.League.</p><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/01/29/24/meet-the-new-gilas-pilipinas-coached-by-tim-cone" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Meet the new Gilas Pilipinas coached by Tim Cone</a></div><p>Ramos was retained in Coach Tim Cone&#x27;s lineup of the revamped national basketball team.</p><p>All is well between them despite the overwhelming distance, said the La Salle product.</p><p>&quot;We are doing good. Still LDR, but we try and make it work. I mean, there&#x27;s nothing we can do,&quot; said Dy.</p><p>Also called by their fans as &quot;<span dir="ltr" id="isPasted">KKDwight</span> ,&quot; the newcomer of PLDT also shared the perks of having a boyfriend who is also an athlete.</p><p>&quot;I feel like, for me, he totally understands how my life is. Not just like the time. [W]hen I&#x27;m having a bad day, he knows what to say because nae-experience niya din firsthand,&quot; she added.</p><p>&quot;I think it&#x27;s easier because he understands, for example, my training, we can&#x27;t be with each other all the time nga kasi may training kami, may iba kaming priority na both athletes, as a professional,&quot; she went on.</p><div><em>&quot;Sana all,&quot; diba?</em></div><p>Staying fit is also on their 2024 bucket list together.</p><p>The former F2 star had a knee injury last season. After her former team&#x27;s disbandment, Dy signed with the PLDT High Speed Hitters for the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference, joining fellow ex-Cargo Movers Majoy Baron and Kim Fajardo.</p><p>&quot;2024 goal namin is to be as healthy as possible, especially galing akong injury.
