MANILA -- After months of speculation, Indonesian squad AURA Fire announced it has acquired Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera from its sister team, ECHO.

Yawi will be joining holdovers Kabuki and High, along with Gugunnn, Aran, and Yehezkiel as AURA seeks to qualify for MSC for the first time.

"GAAAAAASSSSS (Let's go) SEASON 13!" Yawi said in his official Facebook page.

Yawi's overseas venture is one of the biggest to hit the transfer window ahead of the first cycle of major ML:BB tournaments this year.

The former ECHO star was one of the key catalysts to ECHO's victory in MPL Philippines and in the M4 World Championships.

In MPL Season 12, however, Yawi hardly got any minutes, which became subject to controversy as fans alleged in-management politicking, which the team denied.

As he departed ECHO, Yawi thanked the management and reminisced his time with the team.
