MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – San Miguel superstar June Mar Fajardo captured his 11th Best Player of the Conference award, while TNT's Rondae Hollis-Jefferson nabbed the Best Import citation in the 2024 PBA Governors' Cup on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The awarding took place before Game 4 of the ongoing best-of-seven title series.

Fajardo clinched the individual plum after logging a total of 989 points, topping the statistical points (465) and media votes (476), although he was second in the players' votes (252).

It was more than enough to beat the runner-up, Japeth Aguilar of Barangay Ginebra, who was at far second with a total of 664 points. He was number one in players' votes with 77, but only fourth in stats (335) and was second in media votes (252).

"Gagawin ko 'yung best ko para makatulong sa team. 'Yung mga awards naman, parang reward na lang 'yun sa hard work," said Fajardo, who said that his priority remains the same—a championship.

Another Gin King was on the BPC race in Scottie Thompson who had 465 points, while Arvin Tolentino of Northport had 421 points; Robert Bolick of NLEX had 401 points, and SMB's CJ Perez also had 366.

For his part, Hollis-Jefferson was the runaway winner in the Best Import race, tallying a total of 1221 points. He ranked first in the stats with 663 and media votes with 49, while he was second in the players' votes with 67.

Brownlee came in second, listing a total of 947 points anchored on a best-finish in players' votes with 93, while placing second in the stats (588) and media votes (266).

Rain or Shine reinforcement Aaron Fuller totaled 590, and SMB's EJ Anosike also had 548.
