Gilas Pilipinas kicks off training for FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers

MANILA, Philippines – The Gilas Pilipinas Men have started training for the upcoming FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers 2025 on Friday at the Inspire Sports Academy in Laguna.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) shared some snaps of their practice on Facebook, also urging the public to watch the games this November 21 and 24.

Head coach Tim Cone recently revealed that Gilas will be training for a week at the Laguna venue.

The 34th ranked Philippines will face New Zealand (ranked 22nd) at the first game date, followed by World No. 117 Hong Kong on Nov. 24.

Both matches will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena.
