PVL MediaMANILA -- Criss Cross will look to claim a fourth win in the 2024 Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference when it takes on the Martelli Meats Master Butchers on Wednesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

A victory for the King Crunchers will put them at 4-1 and in a three-way tie for third place along with the Cignal HD Spikers and the Savouge Spin Doctors, just behind the unbeaten DN Steel FEU Ultras (6-0) and EcoOil La Salle Green Oilers (4-0).

They are the clear favorites in their 6:00 p.m. showdown against the Master Butchers, who remain winless after five matches.

Criss Cross ace Jude Garcia makes it clear that they cannot underestimate Martelli Meats, however, especially as they continue to push for a place in the semifinals.

"Kailangan talagang mag-prepare pa kami sa darating na games naming, especially malapit na 'yung semis. Kailangan 100 percent, every practice and every game," said Garcia.

Alongside Garcia, key players Francis Saura and Nico Almendras aim to maintain the Crunchers' momentum, while the Master Butchers will rely on Jerome Cordez and Angelo Reyes as they search for their first victory and hope to disrupt Criss Cross's winning rhythm.

In the 4 p.m. opener, Chichi DHTSI, still looking to break a six-game losing streak, will face off against VNS, which has lost three consecutive matches and stands at 1-4.

Titans' Matt Miguel and Jonathan Sorio will go up against the Griffins' CJ Segui and Roderick Medino in what promises to be a hard-fought contest for both sides.
