MANILA - Blacklist International will snag a playoffs seat in MPL Season 14 by a hairline, after RSG Philippines absorbed a 0-2 loss against Aurora in their final encounter.

This will be the first time that RSG Philippines, paraded by rookies, will miss the playoffs since entering the league in Season 8.

The loss sinks RSG Philippines to a 3-11 record, earning just three points in 14 outings.

Blacklist International, led by Kiel "Oheb" Soriano and Salic "Hadji" Imam, will move up to 6th place with  4 points, earning their playoffs seat with just a point difference of RSG.

This is also RSG Philippines' worst finish, having consistently entered the top four of MPL Philippines since winning the MPL Season 9 crown in 2022.

Blacklist International went through a roster overhaul after majority of its key cogs in the likes of Edward "Edward" Jay Dapadap, Renejay "Renejay" Bacarse and Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo transferred to Aurora in the offseason.

Like Blacklist, RSG Philippines underwent a massive overhaul that saw stars Nathanael "Nathzz" Estrologo and Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto exit the team. Demonkite transferred to Aurora while Nathzz was put on loan with North American squad Cloud9 after he migrated to the United States.

Meanwhile, Smart Omega denied Fnatic ONIC Philippines a perfect season with a 2-1 win on a later match, snapping the Hedgehogs' 13-game winning streak.

Smart Omega banked on a lord take 11 minutes into Game 3 to seal the victory in favor of the Brangay. The win propels Smart Omega to the 3rd seed.
