Abed "Abed" Yusop and the rest of Aurora Dota 2 are now out of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 after crumbling to Team Spirit, 0-2, in the lower bracket quarterfinals held Friday in Belgrade, Serbia.

Aurora seemed to have the Spirit puzzle solved in Game 1, but the team squandered its lead as Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov's Bristleback paved the way for the comeback of the Russian squad.

Spirit cruised to the victory in Game 2 as it established a 6k gold lead at the 20-minute mark and later on secured the Roshan and Aegis of the Immortal for the Medusa.

Maximizing the Aegis, Satanic's Medusa and the rest of Spirit secured two lanes five minutes later as the lead ballooned to 17k.

The Medusa went for the knockout punch moments later, securing an Ultra Kill on Aurora members as well as "good game" call.

Earlier in the tournament, Talon Esports, the home of Eljohn "Akashi" Andales and Carlo "Kuku" Palad, suffered a group stage exit after failing to advance to the playoffs.
