Cobb, fresh from his loss of the New Japan Pro Wrestling TV Title, expressed his excitement about bringing more prestige to the FPW Championship, even hinting at the possibility of defending it at Wrestle Kingdom.

I plan to have this on my entrance whatever tour I'm coming on and whatever show I'm on hoping I can get more eyes on this like I said not just FPW but Filipino Pro Wrestling and the Philippines in general," Cobb said
