MLBB collegiate tilt promises thrilling action from teams across PH

MANILA -- Four schools have already secured their spots but four seats are still up for grabs in the Season 2 of the Philippine Collegiate Championship Mobile Legends: Bang Bang National League Finals.

The four teams, which emerged on top of highly-competitive regional cups in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and NCR, qualified straight to the grand finals of the national tournament organized by the Collegiate Center for Esports.

The first and second runners-up of the regional cups meanwhile still have a shot at making it to the grand finals after being seeded to the playoffs along with the survivors of the open qualifier.

Qualifying from Luzon is RVHR FRYD Esports from Don Honorio Ventura State University-Pampanga while Visayas has UBE.Ilo from Central Philippine University-Iloilo.

Mindanao will be represented by HCDC Esports Z from Holy Cross of Davao College while NCR’s Pylon Mittsu from PUP-Sta. Mesa completes the first four finalists of the national league which boasts a P250,000 prize pool.

Regional Cup contenders Bravehearts (FAITH Colleges) and Panthera Esports (SPCF) from Luzon and Adelante Esports (USJR Cebu) and UCLM Thunder (UCLM Cebu) from Visayas, XCEED Hits-V (Ateneo De Cagayan) and TRACE (USTP-CDO) from Mindanao and UE Zenith (University of the East Manila) and TFX Nireus (Far Eastern University) of NCR were then seeded to the second round of their respective regional playoffs.

They will face up against the teams that will come out on top of the open qualifiers set on Oct. 5 to 6. The Visayas and Mindanao playoffs are set on Oct. 12 and 13 while the Luzon and NCR playoffs are on Oct. 25 and 26.
