SEA Games: PH divers fail to reap medals in synchronized springboard

NEW CLARK CITY — The Philippines failed to bag any medals at the synchronized 3-meter springboard event of the 30th Southeast Asian Games diving here Sunday.

Filipino diver Francisco Deorelar finished in sixth place in the men's category, where Malaysia's Ooi Tze Liang bagged the gold medal.

Rose Ann Ocmer, meanwhile, failed to complete a reverse 2 1/2 somersault during the women's synchronized 3-meter springboard final.

Malaysia continued to lead the diving tournament, followed by Singapore and Thailand. -- Report from Noriel Padiernos, ABS-CBN News
