Naturalized player Andray Blatche, along with possible subs Christian Standhardinger and Stanley Pringle, are also tipped to make it to the list of players who will be considered for the squad that will play Kazakhstan and Iran in the fifth and penultimate window of the FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers.

Guiao has said that he will consider the players who suited up in the recent FIBA window, along with the Gilas Pilipinas players who have served their suspension in the aftermath of the brawl with Australia last July.

Guiao may also name new candidates to the pool -- including 16-year-old Kai Sotto as a developmental player.

PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said the board wants to hear from Guiao the necessary arrangements and adjustments that the league would have to make in support of the country's World Cup drive.
