SLIDESHOW: Pinays deliver Asian Games gold medals

<p>The gold medals the Philippines has won so far (as of Aug. 29) in the 2018 Asian Games have come courtesy of the country&#x27;s female athletes.</p><p>It was Hidilyn Diaz who <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/08/21/18/asian-games-hidilyn-diaz-wins-first-gold-for-philippines">struck first</a> when she won the women&#x27;s 53- kilogram event in weightlifting on August 21.</p><p>The <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/08/26/18/asian-games-pinay-golfer-yuka-saso-wins-gold-in-dramatic-finish">golf trio</a> of Yuka Saso, Bianca Pagdanganan and Lois Kaye Go followed on Sunday, with Saso&#x27;s first-place finish in women&#x27;s individual play and a second gold by them as a team.</p><p>Margielyn Didal <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/08/29/18/asian-games-margielyn-didal-claims-gold-in-skateboarding">joined the parade</a> when she topped the women&#x27;s street skateboard competition on Wednesday.</p><p>Didal&#x27;s gold raised the Philippines&#x27; total to 4 in these Games in Jakarta and in Palembang, equaling the country&#x27;s output in 2006 in Doha, 1986 in Seoul, and 1978 in Bangkok.
