SEA Games: Biado holds off Vietnamese to secure 9-ball gold

<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- Carlo Biado displayed poise under pressure to turn back Vietnam&#x27;s Duong Quoc Hoang in the finals of the men&#x27;s 9-ball event in the 29th Southeast Asian Games at KLCC Hall 4 here.</p><p>Biado was masterful early as he ran out to a 4-0 lead in the race-to-9 affair. </p><p>Duong managed to trim the deficit to three after pouncing on a rare Biado error to win the 13th rack, 5-8.</p><p>But with the chance to secure the gold medal, Biado broke well in the 14th rack and proceeded to run it out.</p><blockquote class="twitter-video" data-lang="fil"><p dir="ltr" lang="en">Biado does it!
