Hero kid who saved sister from dog attack awarded ‘championship belt’ by boxing body

The 6-year-old boy who saved his younger sister from a dog attack in Wyoming was recently honored by the World Boxing Council (WBC) as "the bravest man on earth."

Bridger Walker of Cheyenne gained massive praise online for standing between a charging dog and his sister, saving her from a vicious attack.

Walker was injured in the incident, needing 90 stitches to fix his face.

His bravery did not escape the WBC.

"AND THE NEW WBC CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, Bridger 'The bravest man on Earth' Walker," the WBC said through a social media post.

Walker drew praise from celebrities, including Avengers star Chris Evans, who promised to gift him "an authentic Captain America shield."

Meanwhile, the WBC awarded the boy a championship belt.
