Team Pacquiao tragically lost one of its most loyal members over the weekend, as Pacman, Manny Pacquiao's 14-year old Jack Russell Terrier, perished in an accident in General Santos City.

According to Manila Bulletin's Nick Giongco, who was first to report the incident, Pacman was accidentally run over by one of Pacquiao's close aides, David Sisson. Pacman reportedly ran under Sisson's car as Pacquiao's security people were clearing out the garage.

Pacman was immediately rushed to a veterinary clinic, but the injuries sustained were too much for the pooch to handle.

Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee were immediately informed of the accident and the Pinoy boxing icon also watched as his beloved pet was laid to rest.

For years, Pacman was a reliable running partner for Pacquiao during his training camps.
