MANILA (UPDATE) - Team Secret will be missing the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) in Tokyo, Japan after getting eliminated in the VCT Pacific League by Korean squad Gen.G during the playoffs held in Seoul, South Korea.

Team Secret, with five Filipinos in their main 5, will next see action in the Last Chance Qualifiers for the world championships, Valorant Champions, to be held in Los Angeles, California.

"Magulo [yung comms]. Daming nangyari eh, di ko na rin alam eh. Siguro bawat round, na pepressure siguro daming gustong gawin tapos yung nagkakagulo na. Di na kami nagtutugma. Pero ayun good game pa rin," Adrian "INVY" Reyes said in a post-match interview.

Carrying a 11-7 lead in the third map on Split, Team Secret blew their chance of qualifying to the international tournament by losing a 0-6 run.

Jayvee "Dubstep" Paguirigan was able to carry Team Secret to overtime after winning a 1v1 duel. But Gen.G became dominant and let the Adobo Gang crumble towards the final frames of action.

"We lost control and everything fell apart," DubSteP said of the last few moments.

Team Secret first took Ascent, but dropped their comfort map Haven as Gen.G put the game on the line.

Head coach Evan "Warbirds" Olzem lamented the lack of communication between the team -- something that he earlier said the team had been working on when they were trying to prepare for the playoffs.

"I think we might take a week or two of a break. But I think we'll be practicing a bit early. I'm staying here. We'll rebuild ourselves. We have three maps that we struggle with so we'll figure out those maps and go from there," Olzem said.

The Last Chance Qualifiers for the Valorant world championships will be held this July.
