Marck Espejo and Kianna Dy put the stresses and strains of a grueling UAAP volleyball campaign behind them as they watched Bruno Mars' much-anticipated concert in Manila.

A mere days after their seasons came to a close --to contrasting results with Dy winning with the Lady Spikers and Espejo falling short with the Blue Eagles-- the pair was seen enjoying their date night as they reveled in Mars' music Thursday.

The couple shared clips of them singing along with the Grammy-winning artist on Instagram Stories, as screencapped by fans.

In one incredibly sweet video, Espejo recorded Mars crooning "Just the Way You Are" and turned the camera towards his girlfriend during the "she's so beautiful and I tell her everyday' part.

Their fun night out followed a sweet message Dy posted on Instagram for her boyfriend, whose team failed to win their fourth consecutive volleyball crown.

After the heartbreaking loss, she wrote: "5 years actually went by so fast. We’re done with UAAP Dudut! You fell short but i’m still so proud of you and all your achievements! I love you."

Espejo was the MVP of last year's men's volleyball season, and is the holder of the record for most points scored by a player in a single game.

His team lost their crown to National University, while Dy and the Lady Spikers bagged their third straight women's title.
