It was really a team effort.&quot;The Lady Spikers had a slow start, even trailing 1-7 in the first set, but they finished stronger in every frame and frustrated the Lady Eagles with their disciplined net defense.&quot;Hindi ko iniisip na &#x27;yung lumalamang sila,&quot; said Dy. &quot;Wala akong iniisip na hindi namin kaya. Iniisip ko lang na ito &#x27;yung game na kailangan ibigay lahat, so hangga&#x27;t hindi umaabot ng 25, hindi kami titigil.&quot;Dy said she is especially motivated to perform at a high level because many of her teammates – including Ara Galang, Mika Reyes, and Cyd Demecillo – are playing in their final season and she wants them to go out on a high note.&quot;&#x27;Yung seniors ko actually are my inspiration,&quot; she said. &quot;Kailangan matapos nila &#x27;yung year nila ng maganda, so sila talaga ang inspiration ko pag naglalaro.&quot;Dy and the Lady Spikers can claim their ninth overall crown on Wednesday, and she is hoping that she can contribute even more than she did in the series opener.&quot;I think I can improve more, siguro sa defense,&quot; she said.&quot;Winning this game is an advantage sa amin, kasi we only need one more game to win (the title),&quot; Dy also said. &quot;Pero we shouldn&#x27;t be overconfident, kasi baka ma-jinx.&quot;For more sports coverage, visit the <a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com/">ABS-CBN Sports website</a>.
