It’s been over a decade since Zaijian Jaranilla made his acting debut via the Kapamilya series "May Bukas Pa." The wide-eyed little boy has grown into a fine young man. Currently, Zaijian captivates audiences with his role in the thriller teen drama "High Street," where he portrays the LGBT character Tim, the other half of the beloved TimPoch tandem, bringing his signature charm and depth to the screen.

Get to know him again as he shares his experiences, favorites, and dreams in this edition of Celebrity Slambook.

His real name is Zaijian Godsick Lara Jaranilla. You may call him Z, Zai, or Zaij. Or, you may call him Pogi. Born on August 23, 2001, Zaijian is now 22 years old and proudly wears his Virgo zodiac sign. According to astrology, Virgos are intelligent and professional, and they show up when their friends need help.

His favorite color is black, and when it comes to food, he has a refined taste for Japanese cuisine and sinigang na hipon.

Zaijian's playlist is incomplete without the classic "Something" by The Beatles. He experienced his first fanboy moment when he attended Dua Lipa's concert alone.

For relaxation and adventure, Marinduque tops his list of vacation spots, a place he warmly encourages everyone to visit and discover its breathtaking beauty firsthand.

Outside of acting, he finds joy in watching movies and immersing himself in video games. His motto, "Don’t tell lies about me and I won’t tell truths about you," reflects his straightforward approach to life.

When asked about his first audition experience, Zaijian revealed a story he had never shared before. He recounted auditioning for a milk commercial when he was just four or five years old. His grandmother, who worked in an obstetrics and gynecology clinic, accompanied him after a doctor approached her about his interest in doing commercials. They went to Makati for the audition, which turned out to be successful. That marked Zaijian's debut as a commercial model.

His first showbiz friend is Xyriel Manabat, whom he has known since their early days in workshops and modeling gigs as kids. Similarly, when Xyriel filled out the Celebrity Slambook, she also mentioned Zaijian as her first friend in the industry.

Dominic Ochoa stands as his first showbiz role model. They worked together in Zaijian's breakout series "May Bukas Pa," where Zaijian portrayed Santino, a saintly boy raised by priests, including Dominic's character, Father Jose.

Currently, Zaijian is seen in “High Street,” which airs weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z.
