Take, for instance, Tommy Alejandrino, whose two-faced on-screen persona as Kenji in Senior High is fiercely hated by the audience.

But, a stark contrast to his on-screen counterpart, Tommy is pretty easy to get along with off-cam. Know the real him as he shares 5 fun facts about himself in this video!

Trivia number one is that he is the youngest in the brood of six, four of whom are girls.

Tommy, an award-winning gem in the field of indie film, is deeply passionate about acting. In fact, he studied theater at the Philippine High School for the Arts which is nestled amidst the legendary Mt. Makiling. “I studied for six years on a mountain,” he said. On a side note, did you know that his Senior High co-star Elijah Canlas went to the same school?

Related to living life on a mountain, he revealed that he went vegan for a year, which made him slim and tan. He also grew his hair at the time. “I would put coconut oil on my skin and hair every night. Yeah, I was vegan, no meat, no milk, no sugar. It only lasted a year.”

While he’s wholeheartedly committed to acting, he can be very flexible too – literally and figuratively. You’ll be impressed to know that he also excels in sports, specifically gymnastics. When he was five years old, he competed in a gymnastics event in Singapore and placed 5th in the overall ranking.
