MANILA (4th UPDATE) — Some local government units (LGUs) have decided to suspend classes on Thursday, September 19, due to bad weather.

Classes at all levels in the following areas have been suspended:

Angeles City (no face-to-face classes)

Antique

- Culasi (no face-to-face classes)

- Pandan (no face-to-face classes)

Bamban, Tarlac (no face-to-face classes)  

Bulacan

- Balagtas

- Bulakan

- Bustos (no face-to-face classes)

- Calumpit

- Hagonoy (no face-to-face classes)

- Marilao (no face-to-face classes)

- Meycauayan (no face-to-face classes)

- Obando

- Pandi (no face-to-face classes)

- Paombong (no face-to-face classes)

- Plaridel (no face-to-face classes)

- Pulilan

- San Miguel

- San Rafael

- Santa Maria

Negros Occidental

- Cauayan (no face-to-face classes until Friday, September 20)

- Himamaylan

Pampanga

- Arayat (no face-to-face classes)

- Magalang

- Mexico (no face-to-face classes)

- Minalin (no face-to-face classes)

- Santo Tomas (no face-to-face classes)

Classes from pre-school to senior high school, public and private are also suspended in the following areas:

Bulacan

- Baliwag

- Malolos (no face-to-face classes)

- San Ildefonso

Hamtic, Antique (until lifted)

Macabebe, Pampanga (no face-to-face classes)

Face-to-face classes in all levels of public schools in Murcia, Negros Occidental are likewise suspended until Friday, September 20.

PAGASA said heavy to intense rains are expected in Zambales and Bataan until Thursday due to the southwest monsoon.

Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Calabarzon and Mimaropa will likewise experience moderate to heavy rainfall within the same period.
