MANILA -- Over P5 million worth of agricultural damages have been tallied in Naga after torrential rains hit the city amid the onslaught of tropical storm Enteng.

Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion confirmed this in an interview with Teleradyo Serbisyo.

"Base sa nakarating sakin I think around P5 million ang naging damage," Legacion said.

Meanwhile, authorities are currently fixing a bridge that was damaged by Enteng due to water overflow damage.

"'Yung isang tulay na nagging dahilan noon ay ang pagragasa ng tubig. Babaguhin natin depende sa ating engineers so na-inspect na yon pinapagawa ng program of works at design so naabala lang po na baka Lunes, Martes, ay andiyan na," he said.

Enteng left three dead in Naga, which was placed under a state of calamity after the rains.

Government authorities also dispatched both medical and food aid for those affected by the floods. The Department of the Interior and Local Government also distributed anti-leptospirosis medicine to the Naga LGU.

"Ang mga dapat mabigyan ay nabigyan na po," Legacion said.
