IMBESTIGASYON

Francel Margareth Padilla.

“PAOCC (Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission) is already conducting its investigation, so for the part of the AFP, we will be supporting in the manner of ‘yung concern natin, which is national security,” sabi ni Padilla sa isang press briefing.

“With the uniforms that we’ve seen, these are all parts of the evidence at hand, so we are trying to look at the veracity of the report, whether they are legit uniforms. These are very few in number to be part of their troops, so we don’t want to unnecessarily cause panic to the general public,” dagdag niya.

“What is happening is there is an increase in the monitored unusual incidents perpetuated by the presence of Chinese nationals, without saying yet these are a risk to national security, what we have seen are violations of simple or rather simple common crimes like the presence of high-powered firearms in their possession, high-end vehicles, high-end cars, which do not have the appropriate permits from the appropriate government agencies,” Trinidad said.

“The moment they violate, not only the POGOs at the moment, if any establishment violates the rules and regulations of the land, there will be appropriate sanctions that the government may impose upon them. The moment we get there, there will be appropriate announcements to be made. What we have seen right now, and this is factual, there have been personnel arrested connected with the POGOs with high powered firearms—Valle Verde, in Multinational Village—they have in their possession high-end vehicles which have not been registered, so these are violations of common law, probably the revised penal code,” dagdag ng opisyal.

“We are very grateful to the general public for these reports that are being given to us because the AFP cannot do it alone. So, pagka-meron po kayong mga reports, we act on it accordingly, determine the veracity of the report and coordinate with all the necessary agencies for appropriate actions,” sabi ni Padilla.
