MANILA  — Some local government units (LGUs) have decided to suspend classes on Tuesday, November 19 due to the aftermath of storm Pepito.

Classes at all levels in the following areas have been suspended:

Aurora

Cagayan

- Alcala

- Amulung

Camarines Sur

- Caramoan (until Nov. 20)

- Garchitorena (until Nov. 20)

- Lagonoy's northern coastal barangays (until Nov. 20)

- Siruma (until Nov. 20)

- Tinambac (until Nov. 20)

Dagupan City

Isabela

- Cabagan

- Echague (until Nov. 23, except for the graduate school of ISU-Echague)

- Ilagan

- Tumauini

Licab, Nueva Ecija

Nueva Vizcaya

Panganiban, Catanduanes

Pangasinan

- Bayambang

- Bugallon

Classes from pre-school to high school are also suspended in the following areas: 

Bautista, Pangasinan

Face-to-face classes are likewise suspended in the following areas:

Tuguegarao, Cagayan (pre-school to senior high school, public only; shift to distance learning)

Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija (all levels, public at private; shift to distance learning)

Pepito (international name: Man-yi) is now outside the Philippine area of responsibility, after wreaking havoc in Bicol and other parts of the country, the state weather bureau said Monday afternoon.
