Vern Enciso and Ben Lim are parents-to-be! The couple announced the pregnancy news through beautiful photographs and a heartwarming vlog. 'A little Ben on the way,' shared Vern on Instagram.

Vern and Ben couldn't be happier with this blessing, especially since they had been waiting for this milestone and praying hard for it. The two got married in an intimate wedding in Cebu in January 2021.

In a vlog, Vern opened up their IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) journey after years of infertility. 'We've been trying for a baby for the last two years, and after hospital visits and tests, we found out that I had endometriosis, myomas, and chocolate cysts on both my ovaries,' she began narrating. 'I had taken ovulation pregnancy tests, only to be left heartbroken after every month. I've had two surgeries, a lot of ultrasounds, and tried every natural remedy suggested to me. This year, we took the leap of IVF.'

'It's really not our fault and there's always a high reason why we're going through it, even if we wanted [it] so, so much. There's really a reason why,' she continued, tearing up. 'And if it will take this year or next year or a few years from now, then it's okay, because there's really a big reason even beyond of what we're thinking of.'

According to Vern, this IVF journey is also what she and her husband Ben consider as the 'biggest trip' that they have ever embarked on so far.

The internet personality mentioned as well that the vlog is dedicated to their child. 'This vlog is actually for our kid, so that he or she will have something to watch and see how we fetched her or him in Bangkok.'

'Our love, we're here in Bangkok to finally fetch you. We're really hoping that you're going to stick and be part of our family, ' she said.

In Vitro Fertilization is a medical treatment that involves a series of complex procedures. During this process, mature eggs of the woman are being collected from the ovaries. The man's sperm will then be combined with these eggs outside of the hosts' bodies and will be put in a culture dish at the laboratory.

On Instagram, Vern tackled a bit of their struggles and successes through and through. 'After 2 years, God finally led our baby to find our home,' she captioned the post.

'For the past two years, everyone around us seemed to get baby deliveries even if we tried so hard to get our own. We would pray and pray for our turn to hear that doorbell and there were days when it felt like it would never come.'

On tough days like this, Vern would held on to her positive thoughts. She would imagine her baby playing with friends 'up there,' waiting for him to descend to her and Ben's lives. 'I just prayed that when he was ready, he would easily find our home. And almost 5 months ago, on Valentine’s Day, our doorbell finally rang,' Vern revealed.

On a separate story, Vern also walked us through how she told Ben and the rest of her family about the good news.

Ben, on the other hand, was in complete shock when Vern broke the announcement. It happened on February 14—a surprise that her husband wasn't ready for.

'It's positive?' Ben asked Vern, slowly tearing up and covering his eyes to push back the tears from rolling. 'Really? What did it say?'

The two hugged each other then, both crying and overjoyed. Ben admitted that he was still in shock, so Vern showed him the exact text message from their doctor at iBaby Fertility & Genetic Center in Bangkok, Thailand. After learning that they're finally pregnant, the pair decided to call their loved ones to deliver the great news. The two still can't hold back the tears, especially as they were greeted with the warmest congratulations.

Congratulations, Vern and Ben!
