It’s about eight on a Fridaymorning. Sofia Andresis sitting on a makeupchair, getting glammedup. It’s another work dayfor the actress-turned-in demand fashion muse anddigital content creator—except this is no ordinary shoot.The view from where she is sittingis the runway at the Ninoy AquinoInternational Airport, a rare vantagepoint from the third floor of AirTaxi.PH’s HQ in Pasay City.

Meticulous about her looks,she puts on some finishing toucheson her makeup. She’s ready to getdressed in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton:a pinstripe denim zip-up dress,styled with black stockings andankle boots, and accessorized witha monogram camera box bag and apair of black sunglasses. But beforeputting these on, she takes a momentto check out what’s happening atthe hangar on the ground floor. Theplace is packed for this big shoot.Everyone is busy, but the attentionis focused on one person and theluxury Gulfstream G450 Business Jet as the stunning backdrop.

Sofia isn’t the star of thelayout yet. In that instance, she’s aspectator and a supportive partner.Her boyfriend, Daniel LhuillierMiranda, decked in a Louis Vuittonensemble, is boarding the privatejet, posing for photographer ArtuNepomuceno. It’s Daniel’s firstmagazine cover shoot, and despitehaving done countless photo shootsthrough the years, it also happensto be Sofia’s first time to shoot at ahangar. “It was very interesting andexciting,” Daniel quips.

Those happen to be the perfectdescriptions, too, for their yearso far, as they’re gearing up forboth individual pursuits and joint endeavors. “Well, we’ve been gettinga lot of blessings, which is very good,”Sofia reflects. “And we’re starting2024 with a cover!”

They can’t ask for anythingmore, she adds. But of all the thingsto manifest this year, what tops herlist is her wish for good health, aboveall. “With my career, I always prayfor continuous blessings,” she says.“But really, what’s most importantis our health because we have a littlekid.” There’s so much to see in thisworld, and this on-the-go couplewants to visit as many destinationsas possible to introduce to and enjoywith their four-year-old daughterZoe.

Going on beach trips isa frequent bonding activity for theirfamily. Daniel and Sofia both citedBantayan Island as their favoriteCebu spot, and the place, they feel,deserves more attention. They havetons of fun water skiing there. “It’sin front of our family beach house inCebu. By boat, it’s 20 minutes away,”Daniel offers. Spending time by thebeach made up a significant part ofhis childhood in Cebu, where life, hesays, was “really simple.”

Daniel tells us, “Since I grew up there, I’m there probably once a month. So, as much as I can, I bring her [Sofia] there with me, and so far, she’s been really enjoying it as well as our daughter.”
