The Opulence Ball was started by Mond Gutierrez and Ash Rye in 2019, kicking off their Halloween tradition with a Marie Antoinette-inspired event called 'Opulence: Let Them Eat Cake.'

Because of the pandemic, the tradition had to take a pause, but it returned strong with a theme that took cues from the beauty and grandeur of mythology and folklore. Now, the Opulence Ball's creativity continues, pushing the boundaries even more to reimagine the possibilities for what Halloween parties could be like.
