Celebrity couple John Estrada and Priscilla Meirelles sparked breakup rumors following the latter’s comments and posts on social media. The Batang Quiapo actor, who take on the role of a policeman in the action-drama series, recently shared photos of himself on Instagram. He tagged Henann Garden Resort Boracay and captioned it with, “What an awesome place.”

Curious netizens commented on the thread, asking if John is with Maritess or Lena. Maritess, portrayed by Cherry Pie Picache, and Lena, played by Mercedes Cabral, are two of John’s character Rigor’s romantic interests in Batang Quiapo. In response to the account who commented on John’s latest pictures, Priscilla fired away with a fearless reply, tagging the woman whose name she just dropped: “Si Lily Hallman.”

Fueling further speculations, she added, “Looking very divorced, Mr. Estrada.” Last May, Priscilla revealed in an interview with host and TV personality Boy Abunda that her marriage has hit a snag. “Unang-una, ang dami kong natutunan tungkol sa akin, sa sarili ko. Kasi very light akong tao, I’m very easygoing,” she said. “And darating sa panahon na ang lahat ng tao, may limit.”

As of this writing, John has already disabled the comment feature on IG. Her alleged ladylove, meanwhile, also holds a private account with over 3,000 followers.

Meanwhile, last July 15, Priscilla went on Facebook live to give her fans a glimpse of her vacation in Brazil. Here, she also expressed some of her innermost thoughts, though no names were dropped.

“I want to remind you all to always be kind... we don’t know the battles of the other person, we don’t know what they are going through. Pero... we should always remember respect. It’s the most important thing that exists. We need to respect each people. Hindi ko talaga kaya ’yung mga taong walang respect kahit kanino... we need to respect mga magulang, mga asawa, at mga anak,” the Brazilian beauty queen emphasized.

She continued, “Things that you see on social media, they don’t seem to... they are not always true to life. I hope you guys understand that being a celebrity, sometimes we go through things and you do things and you do [them] for the well-being of everyone. But it does not reflect who you are as a person. It does not reflect what you have in your heart.”

“I have a voice. I had enough. And I think when you do things, you need to be very careful about the consequences that you do in life. We’re all grown-ups, right?” she added in her broadcast.

“Everything that you do, there is a consequence, and I refuse to let it pass—anything from this point onwards. So that’s basically who I am. I’m a very patient [person]. I’m very kind and I’m [a] very forgiving person but until the limit. When I get to my limit, I’m sorry. I don’t think I’m the best person for you to fight.”

“The nicest people turned [out] to be the most dangerous people because when we give our best and we get to the limit,” she persisted, saying that when abuse is at an all-time high, people like her wouldn’t give a single care anymore.

On the other hand, John’s viral video in Boracay is making rounds on the internet. In the clip, he was spotted partying in an unnamed club.

To quickly address the issue, however, John took to his IG stories to tell his side of the story. “Priscilla and I have mutually agreed to take a break for quite some time now. There’s more to the story but the last thing I want to do is to hurt the people I love,” the actor started off. “I want to make it clear that I am not in a relationship with Lily Hallman or any other woman for that matter. I just met her in Boracay. I had a short break from work and felt the need for a breather. This is a private family matter that’s why I ask for privacy as we deal with this.”

In response to John’s recent public statement, Priscilla expressed how “deeply shocked” and “disheartened” she is. According to the her, a mutual agreement regarding their separation has never transpired in the first place.

“We were married when I left the Philippines, and we remain married as of this time. While there is indeed more to this story, it is not the appropriate time to delve into those details,” she said. “Regardless of what those may be, however, it won’t change the course of faith.”

To conclude, Priscilla gave gratitude to her followers as well for their constant support throughout this turbulent time. “I trust that, in due course, all will be resolved appropriately. Thank you for your understanding.”
