








Her 'Pinoy Big Brother' journey - Anji once auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) when she was in Grade 9, but she did not get in. Despite the failed attempt, though, her determination never waned. She auditioned multiple times until she finally secured a spot in showbiz. “I auditioned for PBB po kasi it has been one of my biggest dreams din po—to become a housemate of Kuya,” she says, adding that she’s always been a fan of PBB and the Big Winner journeys of Kim Chiu, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, and Maymay Entrata.@_anjisalvacion_
- While her first weeks in the house were challenging as she struggled to speak up and dealt with self-doubt, it did not stop her from nurturing herself to become better. She may have endured several eviction threats, but she did not wallow in them. Soaring to stardom - Anji’s showbiz background dates back to 2019 when she started off in the singing contest “Idol Philippines.” Her career began to blossom in an attempt to find her long-lost father whom she has not had come in contact with since he left Siargao where she hails from. She auditioned and sang Christina Perri’s hit song, “Jar of Hearts,” and people were stunned by her performance.@_anjisalvacion_
- While she did not win in the said talent platform, her television exposure allowed her to extend her abilities as a background actor and bit player in commercials. She was also cast for a regular role in iWantTFC miniseries “Unloving U.” Being multifaceted, she was soon invited to a squad of ABS-CBN artists called Squad Plus, an extension of the widely popular group Gold Squad with Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, and Kyle Echarri. A high regard for her fellow housemates - In her interview with Metro.Style, she shared that although she was hailed the Big Winner, she never failed to notice and admire the assets of her fellow housemates. When asked whom she considers as her toughest contender, she answers: “All of them! I never underestimated anybody. Everybody was so strong, and everybody’s giving different spices in that house.”@pbbabscbntv

Her life’s current soundtrack - Now a recording artist, Anji has released a number of songs and even held her very own virtual concert. Her self-composed single, “Dalampasigan,” is what she sets as her life’s current soundtrack. According to the singer-actress, the dalampasigan is where she has first felt love. “Sa dalampasigan ako unang natutong magmahal,” she said.@_anjisalvacion_
- Having been brought up on a small island in Siargao, she pays tribute to her province when she was in the house longing for her hometown. “Dalampasigan is my family. It’s the love of my family.
