The duo behind the much-talked-about annual Halloween party pulled off yet another successful, statement-making <strong>The Opulence Ball</strong>. This year, their take on opulence was a dazzling leap into the past. According to the event&#x27;s organizers, &#x27;<strong>Opulence Presents: The Velvet Underground</strong>,&#x27; is &#x27;a celebration of what defined the most opulent era in recent history—the 70s.&#x27; </p><div><br/></div><p>The Peninsula Manila served as the venue of the star-studded and glamorous Opulence Ball 2024, which took place on October 31, 2024. </p><div><br/></div><p>Inspired by the vibrant, eclectic spirit of the 70s, &#x27;Opulence Presents: The Velvet Underground&#x27; was filled with references to fashion, music, and dance floor fever. </p><div><br/></div><p>With correspondent Christi McGarry, <strong>METRO</strong> was there to witness the fun and fab night that showcased the guests&#x27; interpretations of the bold, individualistic styles and creativity that
