While K-pop continues to evolve at lightning speed, tripleS (also known as SSS and SocialSonyoSeoul), is making headlines with its latest dance-focused sub-unit, Visionary Vision.

Unlike other K-pop groups, tripleS is built around the idea of rotation and sub-unit formation, allowing its impressive 24-member lineup to be rearranged into new teams for different musical projects. The freshly launched unit, Visionary Vision (VV), is stirring up buzz with its high-energy debut that features razor-sharp choreography and boundary-pushing visuals that embody the future of K-pop performance.

With its all-new mini-album, Performante, released last October, the 12-member sub-unit is eyed to deliver high-energy performance (as referred to its Italian equivalent) with an artistic twist for fans who crave something fresh and intense.

In this exclusive, we got to chat wth six of tripleS Visionary Vision’s members—NaKyoung (S7), YuBin (S8), Kotone (S11), YeonJi (S12), Nien (S13), and Xinyu (S15)—who each bring something special to the table. Here’s a quick look at the playful and personal side of each member! See what makes each girl tick—from favorite comfort foods to dream collaborators!

With a background rich in the arts—from the gayageum to ballet—NaKyoung describes her fashion style as “perfect,” and it shows in her poised presence as a VV member. “Generation” is her favorite tripleS track and her dream collaborator is her sister, South Korean singer-rapper BIBI. Offstage, she usually craves the spicy Chinese dish malatang.

Kotone brings a captivating girl-hip-hop vibe to Visionary Vision. A skilled rapper and dancer, she adds depth and flavor to every track she touches. Her journey from being a ballet student as a kid to a hip-hop dancer reflects her versatility and adaptability, and her interest in K-pop icons like Jay Park speaks to her ambitions. And yes, the S11 is a bagel enthusiast!

Kotone

YuBin is revealed as the group’s S8. YuBin enjoys the richness of gopchang, a Korean dish made with beef intestines, whenever she has some downtime. She dreams of collaborating with Jeon Soyeon and is a fan of Taeyeon’s music, showing her love for artists who embody confidence and individuality. Her favorite tripleS song is “Rising.”

YuBin

YeonJi brings a strong presence with her expressive hip-hop and hip-casual fashion sense. She’s a lover of tteokbokki which she confesses as her ultimate comfort food. She’s a proud fan of 2NE1, an influence seen in her powerful performances. On her nostalgic connection to the Philippines, YeonJi said she visited Matabungkay and Fort Bonifacio in Manila as a child and recently returned for promotions for their album EVOLution.

Nien’s cool and casual approach belies her athletic history—despite jokingly telling her teammates she was “born with these muscles!” Her musical taste leans towards edgier tracks, with a recent favorite being RESCENE’s “Pinball.” She’s a fan of HeeJin and her go-to comfort food is broccoli.

Nien

Xinyu is the S15 of the group. She adores the tripleS song “Girls Never Die” and has a soft spot for Red Velvet's “Ice Cream Cake” (oh how it speaks of a yogurt ice cream lover she is!) Xinyu described her personal fashion style as “colorful”—suiting her fun-loving personality. When asked about her dream artist to collaborate with, she aims to work with American singer-songwriter Melanie Martinez.
