Many fans and netizens were saddened by Binsoy Namoca's eviction from the hit reality show "Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11." While he admits that even his family couldn't hide their heartbreak over him not making it to the Big 4, Binsoy remains positive, knowing that his dreams don’t end with his journey as a housemate

Before his life-changing stint in “PBB Gen 11,” Binsoy juggled being a student while working as a choreographer and dancer, as well as participating in local singing contests in his province. His high school years weren’t a walk in the park, either; he worked in a mine to help provide for his family's needs.

His life has always been a big juggling act, balancing work and school. When asked how he managed to do everything at once, Binsoy told Kapamilya Chat that he was good at organizing his time and schedule, so his huge responsibilities wouldn't feel too overwhelming.

Binsoy has always wanted to become an 'artista,' but never in his wildest dreams did he expect to land a spot as a PBB housemate. He simply saw the announcement for "PBB Gen 11" auditions on social media and decided to try. Looking back, Binsoy said he just enjoyed the lengthy audition process and maintained no expectations, so he could appreciate the journey regardless of the outcome.

Isn't victory much sweeter when one is just having fun? Binsoy was over the moon when he was chosen as one of the official housemates out of thousands who auditioned. And as he stepped into a new and unfamiliar territory, leaving his family in the province to become a PBB housemate, he felt at ease because he carried with him the genuine support of his family and friends

However, he didn’t anticipate that his supporters would double or even triple, with strangers rallying behind him because they were inspired by his story of dedication and determination in pursuing his dreams—not only for himself but for his family. When he was evicted on October 5 and he checked social media for the first time after months of staying in the PBB house, he was deeply touched by the overwhelming public support poured out to him.

Looking back on the current season's pilot episode, which was his first night as an official housemate, he couldn't help but laugh at how amazed he was when he took off his blindfold. He thought, "Ang gaganda't ang popogi ng mga kasama ko. Naligaw 'ata ako." He remembers hitting it off easily with housemate JM Ibarra, one of his favorite 'kuwentuhan' buddies inside the house, and with now-evicted housemate Bryx Ruiz because of their shared Ilonggo roots.

Being naturally friendly, Binsoy easily adapted to his new environment and the unfamiliar faces around him, despite their diverse personalities and backgrounds. After all, he’s all about enjoying the journey.

When asked where his positive outlook and never-give-up attitude come from, he answered, "Nanggagaling ho 'yan sa puso ko." He smiled,"Kapag inisip ko pa ang problema, eh, wala namang solusyon kapag iisipin ko pa 'yan, kaya mas mabuting i-enjoy mo na lang kahit anong problema pa ang dumating sa'yo.”

Speaking of challenges, for Binsoy, one of the toughest tasks he faced in Kuya’s house was building the tower of cups with his fellow adult housemates against the teens. It wasn’t just a test of physical strength but also mental and emotional endurance, as it put their friendships on the line.

Talking about biggest challenges, Binsoy also reacted to his final week as a housemate when he and the other surviving participants faced the 'House Challengers'—Jarren Garcia, Dingdong Bahan, Patrick Ramirez, Therese Villamor, and Jas Dudley-Scales—who really put them to the test. He couldn’t help but chuckle when he talked about the trending 'chicken' incident where he and JM had a tough time trying to get some chicken to cook, but the House Challengers wouldn’t let them. In the end, it all made sense, and the housemates realized that the challenges were just a way to test their character and see who truly had what it takes to be the Big Winner.

Speaking of Big Winner, he was asked who he thinks deserves the title, and he chose JM, whom he praised for being smart and great at getting along with others."

While it’s one thing to live as a housemate, knowing that he's inspired many viewers has made the experience much, much more fulfilling. He likens his “PBB Gen 11” journey to a 'treasure'—something he will cherish, even through the ups and downs he encountered along the way.

When asked if he has any words of encouragement for others striving for their dreams despite hardships, he said, "Huwag lang kayong sumuko at mararating din ninyo ang mga pangarap ninyo."

Binsoy honestly admits there are moments when he feels discouraged too. He's human. But during those times, he knows it's up to him to pull himself back up. He reminds himself that giving up is never an option, "Mino-motivate ko na lang po ang sarili ko, kasi walang maitutulong kung mag-iisip ka ng negative."

It's also important to surround yourself with people who believe in your abilities, just like Binsoy's family does for him. According to Binsoy, his family was in tears when he talked to them after his eviction, sad that he didn’t make it to the Big 4. However, he reassured them that he was fine with the outcome. Besides, he’s still eager to chase even bigger dreams moving forward.

Binsoy can't overlook the solid support system he's found among his fellow housemates as well, which is evident in their recent bonding moments shared on social media. Although he didn't win the title of Big Winner, he's definitely a winner when it comes to the friendships he's formed inside Bahay Ni Kuya, "Hindi ko po ini-expect na 'yung bonding namin sa loob ay madadala po namin sa labas. Sobrang saya po na magkaroon ng mga kaibigan na gaya nila. Sobrang babait!"

We've all heard ex-housemates share how their “PBB Gen 11” stint was truly life-changing, and for Binsoy, it's no different. While he’s naturally friendly, being isolated with a group of strangers really expanded his ability to connect with others. He learned to appreciate the people around him even more.

Binsoy genuinely believes that it's important to care for others without expecting anything in return. When asked where this perspective comes from, he replied, "Sa huli, 'yung mga taong nakakasama mo, sila rin 'yung makakatulong sa'yo."

But at the same time, he will take Kuya's words to heart, especially the advice that left the strongest impact on him: there’s nothing wrong with putting himself first every once in a while.

Binsoy isn't called the "Maabilidancing Dong ng South Cotabato" for nothing. He’s someone full of creativity and big life goals. After his stint on PBB, he hopes to break into showbiz to pursue his passion for performing. As a dancer, of course, it’s his dream to collaborate with his idol, Vhong Navarro, and his celebrity crush BINI Sheena.
