The most successful reality program in the country, “Pinoy Big Brother,” just recently hailed its newest Big Winner during the highly talked about “The Final Stage at the Big Night” of “PBB Gen 11” held last October 26, and it was none other than “Ang Anakabogerang Influencer ng Mandaluyong” Fyang Smith!

And in this Kapamilya Update feature, let’s take a trip down memory lane and revisit the winning moments of the previous big winners during the Big Night of their respective seasons.

Avid fans know that PBB has been around for almost two decades. It already has 11 seasons and 17 editions ever since it was launched in 2005 and has named 12 big winners.

Firsts will always be special, right? Thus, there’s no wonder that “Season 1”’s Jennivev “Nene” Tamayo has remained one of the most popular big winners in the entire PBB history. In 2006, she was succeeded by former sexy actress Keanna Reeves, who was the first-ever big winner of the “Celebrity Edition 1,” as well as Kim Chiu, who reigned in the Teen Edition 1.

“PBB Season 2”’s Bea Saw was oozing with confidence when she was declared the big winner in 2007. Later that year, Ruben Gonzaga flashed his “ngiting tagumpay” and proudly brandished his rosary when he emerged onstage as the big winner of the “Celebrity Edition 2.” The following year, Ejay Falcon soared as the big winner of the “Teen Edition Plus.”

In 2009, the “Inday Kengkay of General Santos City” Melisa “Melai” Cantiveros was in tears when she saw the amount of love she had received once she stepped out onstage as the big winner of “PBB Double Up.” Succeeding her was James Reid, who continued to charm everyone up to his inauguration as the big winner of the “Teen Clash of 2010” edition.

The same with Slater Young, who was welcomed with deafening shrieks by his supporters who were so excited to see him in his first moments as the big winner of “PBB Unlimited” in 2011. The following year, it was “Teen Edition 4” Big Winner Myrtle Sarrosa’s time to experience that momentous reception from the outside world.

There may be no Filipino blood running in his veins but the proudly “pusong Pinoy” of Brazilian-Japanese model-actor, not to mention his swooning charms and pleasing personality, were apparently enough for him to be chosen as the big winner of “PBB All In” in 2014.

“PBB 737”S’s Big Night in 2015 was definitely one for the books as it produced two big winners – Jimboy Martin for the Teen Edition and Miho Nishida for the Adult Edition. The following year, Maymay Entrata was undoubtedly one of the luckiest people during the Big Night of the “Lucky Season 7” in 2016 since she was named as its big winner.

In 2018, the “Is-kulit Bay ng Bohol” Yamyam Gucong wasn’t able to hold back his emotions when he was declared the big winner of “PBB Otso.” Two years later, not even the raging pandemic was able to stop Liofer Pinatacan and his supporters from celebrating when he emerged as the big winner of PBB Connect during the Big Night in 2021.

Meanwhile, “Ang Singing Sweetheart ng Siargao” Anji Salvacion truly shined so bright in her yellow gown during the big night of the “Kumunity Season 10,” in which she was hailed as the big winner.

And recently, Fyang Smith made the whole place shimmer not just with her glittery violet gown and glowing fair complexion, but with her radiant smile as well when she was named the big winner of “PBB Gen 11.”
