Since her critically-acclaimed performances in the blockbuster films “Four Sisters Before The Wedding” and “Fangirl,” Charlie Dizon has been an unstoppable force in the world of acting. She has topbilled her own series, the thought-provoking drama Viral Scandal in 2021.

Now, she’s back with another riveting teleserye, Pira-Pirasong Paraiso, which has been receiving positive reviews since its premiere last July 25.

Born April Rose Dizon Matienzo on April 12, 1996, Charlie is a 27-year-old Aries. They say that Aries people burst with energy and are natural leaders – sounds like ‘very’ Charlie, right? She even described herself as “bungisngis, palakwento, sweet, and happy.”

“Gusto ko masaya palagi. Gusto ko nakakarinig lagi ng tawa,” shared the Kapamilya beauty, whose favorite color is pink and favorite food is her mom’s tortang giniling. Charlie, or Neng to her sisters, currently loves listening to “Teka Lang” by Emman Nimedez. It’s the perfect song for when chilling by the beach, which is her ultimate vacation spot.

She’s into singing, driving, and trying out skincare products. Just recently, she discovered her special talent in news reporting. As a child, Charlie kept her dream to become an actress a secret and instead told her parents that she wants to become a doctor.

Her first audition was for a Korean entertainment company for which she trained as a K-Pop idol. She dreams to play a bida-kontrabida role.
