Following the massive success of their Be The Sun World Tour, kpop group SEVENTEEN will be returning to bring their Follow World Tour to the Philippines. The concert will be held this January 13 and 14, 2024 at the Philippine Sports Stadium, just beside Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan. This is a milestone as SEVENTEEN will be the first artist to headline a major concert at the said venue.

SEVENTEEN is a South Korean boy group that has made a relevant mark on the kpop music scene since their emergence in 2015. They are primarily known for their unique concept, impressive choreography, and their large number of members. Seventeen is under Pledis Entertainment and consists of 13 members, which is where their name, “Seventeen,” originates. The group is divided into three sub-units: the Hip-Hop Unit, the Vocal Unit, and the Performance Unit.

The Hip-Hop Unit is composed of S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon. They are the ones giving the boy band’s rap and hip-hop elements, adding an eclectic facet to SEVENTEEN’s music. The Vocal Unit of Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, and Seungkwan, showcases the group’s vocal talents, delivering emotional and passionate performances. Lastly, the Performance Unit includes Hoshi, Jun, The 8, and Dino, who are renowned for their exceptional terpsichorean skills and elaborate and intricate choreography.

In April 2023, the group released their tenth extended play FML followed by their eleventh EP album, Seventeenth Heaven in October 2023.

SEVENTEEN’s worldwide influence continues to expands. They have successfully toured the entire globe and have adapted music in numerous languages to cater to their international fans. Their craft and live performances have certainly made an impact on the global K-pop scene and it continues to grow to this day.
