Reuters was able to confirm the location near Tal al-Sultan in Gaza’s Rafah Governorate from the road layout, electric poles and the building structures nearby which matched satellite imagery of the area.

The location also matched with the videos shared by the The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OCHA OPT) on March 30 where members of the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and Palestinian Civil Defence (PCD) were seen excavating a mass grave.
