A survivor emerged alive from rubble almost four days after a devastating earthquake in Myanmar.

Myanmar's fire and rescue service said the survivor was a 63-year-old woman.

Dramatic video showed rescuers searching the partially collapsed remains of a building before the woman was carried out on a stretcher.

Reuters was able to confirm the location of the video as Naypyitaw from the buildings, the road layout and the entrance to the hospital, which matched satellite imagery of the area. The date when the video was recorded could not be verified independently. However, Myanmar Fire Services Department made a statement saying that the rescue took place on the morning of April 1.
