Hundreds of faithful gathered to participate in the prayer service.

The rosary is part of a nightly initiative that began on Monday, led by Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State.

Cardinal Tagle was also present during Monday’s rosary, where he was joined by hundreds of Catholics.

In the latest health update posted at around 3:00 A.M. Manila time on February 26, the Vatican stated that the Pope’s “condition remains critical but stable,” adding that he has not experienced “acute respiratory episodes, and hemodynamic parameters continue to be stable.”

“In the evening, he underwent a scheduled CT scan for radiological monitoring of bilateral pneumonia. The prognosis remains cautious,” the Holy See Press Office wrote in the statement.

The Vatican further revealed that the Holy Father continued working after receiving the Eucharist in the morning.

The prayer service was streamed live on the Vatican News website and social media channels.
