LAOS – Filipinos in Laos are invited to participate in the Parol-Making Contest as part of the celebration of Paskong Pinoy 2024.

Parol-making contest sa Laos 

Participants are encouraged to use recycled materials in making their parol.

The following are the guidelines:

·                     Both group and individual submissions are accepted.

·                     Participants may submit more than one parol.

·                     The size of the parol should not be less than 1 1/2 feet in length.

Criteria for judging:

·                     Originality (uniqueness) - 30%

·                     Creativity (creative utilization of materials) - 30% 

·                     Concept of the parol - 20%

 ·                     Audience impact - 20%

Selected parol entries must be available for display at the Philippine Embassy during Paskong Pinoy from December 7 onwards.

Interested participants may register online. The deadline for submission of parol entries to the Philippine Embassy is December 5.
