Handout/PAGASA</div>MANILA (UPDATED) -- Tropical storm Ada is now moving northward over the sea east of Catanduanes.At 1 pm Saturday, it was located 220 km east of Daet, Camarines Norte, packing winds of 85 kph with gustiness of 105 kph. It is moving northward at 15 kph.Wind signal no. 2 is hoisted in:<ul><li>eastern Camarines Norte</li><li>eastern and central Camarines Sur</li><li>Catanduanes</li><li>Albay</li><li>northern Sorsogon</li></ul><div> </div>Meanwhile, signal no. 1 is still up in:<ul><li>eastern Quezon including Polillo Islands</li><li>Marinduque</li><li>eastern Romblon</li><li>rest of Camarines Norte</li><li>rest of Camarines Sur</li><li>rest of Sorsogon</li><li>Masbate</li><li>Northern Samar</li><li>Eastern Samar</li><li>Samar</li><li>Biliran</li><li>northern Leyte</li><li>northern Cebu including Bantayan Islands</li><li> </li></ul>Further intensification of Ada into a severe tropical storm and a westward shift in its track that may result in a landfall over Catanduanes are not ruled out.The disturbance may slowly move in a loop-like track east of Luzon from Saturday evening, while weakening until it becomes a remnant low due to the expected surge of Amihan. Ada will continue to bring significant rains over Eastern Visayas and Southern Luzon through Monday.Flooding and landslides are likely in many areas, with lahar flow also possible along the slopes of Mayon Volcano.
