The LPA — located over the coastal waters of Tuburan town in Cebu at 8 a.m. — is unlikely to develop into a tropical cyclone and could dissipate in the next 24 hours, the agency said.

The easterlies, or warm winds from the Pacific, could also bring the same weather conditions over the Caraga region, and residents there are urged to be alert for similar hazards such as flooding and landslides.
