MANILA -- Hot and dry conditions will prevail over most of Luzon, while the rest of the country will be warm and humid after the Holy Week.

Ariel Rojas, ABS-CBN's resident weather forecaster, said the warm Easterlies prevailing over the entire country will bring in the hot weather.

But afternoon and or evening thunderstorms are still expected due to the very hot weather, especially over Cordillera and Mindanao.

Metro Manila will be very hot and dry throughout the week with possible afternoon thunderstorms on Monday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, no weather disturbance is expected this week.
